Longwan Seashore with beautiful natural scenery and human landscape is a national comprehensive and multifunctional 4-A scenic spot integrated with sightseeing, swimming, entertainment, leisure, catering and shopping services. 

The scenic spot covers an area of 6.9 square kilometers. The available sea area is 5.72 square kilometers. The beach bathing place is more than 2000 meters long and 80-100 meters wide. Longwan Seashore gives first place to serving the society. It has been operating in an open and ticket-free mode. The maximum number of visitors a day reached 100,000. The scenic spot consists of a beach bathing area, a recreation area, a leisure resort area, a gourmet shopping area and the Central Square. 

The central square of the scenic spot is paved with nearly 10,000 square meters of bright and clean marble. Large-scale concerts, evening parties and some activities bidding for Guinness records, such as thousand-people zither playing and thousand-people drums playing, have been held in the Central Square. Some comfortable hotels in European style with clean and tidy environment are for tourists to stay in. The hotels and the Seashore Service Center are on both sides of the square. More than 20 recreational projects and facilities, such as Rocket Bungee Jumping and Shuttling Time and Space, have been developed and constructed in the Recreation Area. In the leisure shopping area, there is a large shopping Expo square, a specialized crafts and swimwear sales street, and 20 retail stores with planning permission to meet tourists’ needs for travel and shopping. In the Gourmet Square, there are 20 middle and high-grade restaurants and hotels, which gather famous snacks from all over the country and the local seafood from Huludao City. There is a dazzling array of crafts, swimsuits and tourist souvenirs for tourists in the shopping Expo square and stores near the Central Square. 

The scenic spot provides tourists with free services such as tourism consultation, complaints, broadcasting, life-saving, simple medical treatment, as well as paid services such as entertainment, accommodation, catering, shopping, swimming gear rental and shower. 

When night falls, Longwan Seashore shines like daylight under the illumination of 15 high pole lamps, so it enjoys the reputation of The No. 1 Beach without Darkness in China.
