Hongluo Mountain Scenic Spot is in Lianshan District of Huludao City. It covers an area of 10,008 hectares and is about 30 kilometers from the city. The protection area is mainly the Large Hongluo Mountain and the Small Hongluo Mountain. 

　　The unique geographical location and climatic conditions make the landscapes and forests unique. The Large Hongluo Mountain and the Small Hongluo Mountain in the scenic spot are called by a joint name Hongluo Mountain, which is a famous and representative mountain in Western Liaoning Province. There are high and steep peaks in the Large Hongluo Mountain and the Small Hongluo Mountain. They are very good places for tourists to overlook the sea and watch the sunrise and sunset for the wide view on the mountain peak. There are wonderful rocks, steep cliffs and valleys in Hongluo Mountain. The scenery is magnificent. 

　　The dense forest in the scenic spot is rich in vegetation. Especially the large natural pinus tabulaeformis, quercus tabulaeformis oaks and platycladus orientalis in the area are rare zonal typical forest landscapes. The large forest vegetation，the steep peaks and wonderful rocks make Hongluo Mountain vivid and charming. Hongluo Mountain was a place for military strategists to contend for in history. The sites of beacon towers on the Great Wall of the Ming Dynasty in the Small Hongluo Mountain and the Soldier Cave and Soldier Road in the Large Hongluo Mountain are all precious relics of ancient human history.
