The climate in Xingcheng Seashore Scenic Spot is pleasant. It is not hot in summer and not cold in winter. It is warm in spring and cool in autumn. It is a natural scenic spot.

The theme bathing place of the scenic spot is Xinghai Bay Bathing Place (or the First Bathing Place)with delicate and elegant environment. It is 1,500 meters in length from the Fishing Port in the north and to the end of South Mountain in the south. There is no reef and gravel in swimming area, and the depth of sea water is suitable. The water sparkles and the waves are not alarming in sunny days. The fine sand on the silver beach makes you feel very soft and comfortable. Compared with that of the bathing places of other coastal cities in the north, the natural conditions of sea bathing places here are much better. The open coastal terrain provides tourists with a good environment. There are 29 hotels, restaurants and malls in different styles. Some of the buildings are grand and some are exquisite.
