Longtan Grand Canyon at the border of Liaoning Province and Hebei Province is located in Laodazhangzi Township, Jianchang County, Huludao City, Liaoning Province. It is a national 3-A scenic spot, National Geological Park, Chinese Social Reliable Tourist Scenic Spot, Liaoning Top-50 Scenic Spots, Liaoning Top-10 Natural Ecological Scenic Spot, Liaoning Ecotourism Demonstration Zone, Huludao Cultural Tourism Industry Demonstration Base and Huludao Excellent Tourist Scenic Spot. It is known as Small Tibet in Western Liaoning, Small Plateau in Northern China, and Beautiful Line of the Earth and Wonderful Great Rift Valley. The total length of the canyon is 54.5 kilometers and the depth is 348 meters. The widest part of the canyon is 210 meters. It is a comprehensive scenic spot integrating mountains, waters, caves, waterfalls, stones and other landscapes. The canyon landscape changes with seasons.
