On December 20th, the Municipal Government's News Office held a press conference for the "Huludao City Ice and Snow Festival" event. The Municipal Culture, Tourism, Broadcasting and Television Bureau announced details regarding the arrangements for the city's Ice and Snow Festival activities.

At the press conference, relevant officials from the Municipal Culture, Tourism, Broadcasting and Television Bureau introduced aspects focusing on "stimulating the snow and ice industry's momentum," "enhancing the vitality of winter tourism," and "unleashing the potential of snow and ice consumption." Our city, leveraging "hot spring healthcare, snow and ice study tours, and revolutionary culture," is building projects and organizing activities. It includes upgrading old sanatoriums and vigorously promoting the development of the hot spring industry. We are creating a diversified "snow and ice +" tourism experience. Carefully planned and packaged are seven thematic routes, connecting more than ten AAA-rated scenic spots such as Jiumenkou Aquatic Great Wall, Xingcheng Ancient City, Huludao Ancient Town, and Mingxing Temple. Various snow and ice tourism activities are being held, forming a pattern that combines points, lines, and planes, enhancing the influence and competitiveness of our city's winter tourism. Relying on "Ice and Snow Festivals, culture, and art," colorful cultural and sports activities are being organized. Especially during the snow season, each county (city) district is planning and launching events like concerts, Spring Festival galas, cultural activities in rural areas, and sports events, further enriching our city's winter tourism formats. The city and county levels are working together, integrating elements of snow and ice, hot springs, and special cuisine, holding events like New Year goods fairs, intangible cultural heritage performances, family activities, harvesting festivals, lantern festivals, and ice fishing, creating new growth points in snow and ice tourism consumption. Additionally, officials also answered questions from the press about the "Xingcheng Winter Delight" winter tourism festival and the "Winter Swimming Culture Festival" to be held in Xingcheng City.

It is understood that this winter, our city is vigorously developing the snow and ice economy and tourism, accelerating the construction of high-quality cultural, sports, and tourism integration demonstration areas.
